.Inni-K –Still A Day Album Launch Live

Join Inni-K and her band in celebrating the release of her fourth studio album, Still A Day— a powerful new collection of original songs that marks a confident evolution in her sound. Renowned for her luminous voice and creative vision, Inni-K returns with a body of work that is at times quieter, a lower note than before — yet still wild, free, and tuned into moments of pure ecstasy. Ethereal vocals, intricate instrumentation, and the golden threads of a voice discovering new depths—Still A Day guides listeners through experiences lived and transformed, expressed with quiet intensity, wild beauty, and emotional charge.

Her fiddle plays a central role throughout, with bold, gutsy playing that weaves raw energy into the heart of her richly textured arrangements. Expect new songs from the album alongside favourites from her acclaimed contemporary sean-nós record Iníon, all delivered with the distinct artistry that has made Inni-K one of Ireland’s most compelling contemporary voices. A commanding live performer, Inni-K has graced stages from the National Concert Hall in Dublin to Symphony Hall Birmingham and the Irish Arts Center in New York.

Her performances do more than impress — they create a shared energy, drawing audiences into the present in the way only the most truthful music can.

Inni-K (Eithne Ní Chatháin) is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter whose music draws from her extensive background in sean-nós and traditional Irish music, even as she ventures into new musical territories.

Known for her powerful live performances and singular creative vision, Inni-K continues to evolve with each release. The Irish Times has hailed her as “one of Ireland’s most exciting artists.” Join Inni-K and her band in celebrating the release of her eagerly anticipated fourth studio album,'Still A Day' — a fully original collection and her most creatively expansive work to date — on this Irish tour in October and November 2025.

“One of Ireland’s most exciting artists” The Irish Times

“One of the most acclaimed voices in the extraordinary revival of traditional and folk music we have witnessed in recent years.” RTÉ Radio 1, Arena

Still A Day  - Luminous, light and dark... musical in the way the best music is: rich with moments that will astonish you and melodies you won’t want to stop hearing or singing. Birds fly through it — sometimes the bright flights of goldfinches, sometimes pigeons at a Dublin train station. It is studded with stars and ripples with lakewater; it carries longing and loss, worn lightly, transmitting still — like depth charges. Stocked with experience, it shines with the knowledge of flow, of life moving through us —and the transforming power of art. A voice finding deeper notes, yet still wild and ecstatic. A page from an artist's life, a privilege to read over her singing and playing shoulders — lit gold with the light of living and the mending gold of artistry. A marvellous capturing of this moment: an artist in flight from dark toward light once more. A sign, greater than ever, that Inni-K is a voice to return to for the real news of the soul and heart — and the realest music.

Her acclaimed 2022 album Iníon — a contemporary sean-nós album— was lauded by Folk Radio UK as “an album of tremendous understatement, power and beauty,” and described by The Irish Times as “a sparkling collection of songs that shimmer in the heat of Inni-K’s warm, unforced voice.” It was named a Top of the World release by Songlines Magazine and received two RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Award nominations: Best Folk Album and Best Traditional Folk Track for “Éamonn an Chnoic.”

Her earlier albums, The Hare & the Line (2019) and The King Has Two Horse’s Ears (2015), established her as one of the most distinctive voices in Irish songwriting — blending evocative lyrics, ethereal vocals, deft musicianship, and a unique approach to composition.

Inni-K has brought her spellbinding performances to audiences around the world, performing at venues such as Irish Arts Center (New York), Centre Culturel Irlandais (Paris), Symphony Hall (Birmingham), Cork Opera House, and the National Concert Hall (Dublin). She has also toured globally with Sadler’s Wells and Michael Keegan-Dolan’s acclaimed dance-theatre show Rian, and shared the stage with artists as varied as Toumani Diabaté, Efterklang, Lisa O’Neill, Hothouse Flowers, Sam Amidon, Martin Hayes, and Jeff Ballard.

In 2025, Inni-K serves as Traditional Artist in Residence at University College Cork (UCC), reflecting her deep connection to Ireland’s living musical traditions.
