Randal "Big Daddy" Webster and Patrick Horgan

Date: Wednesday 29th June 8pm Admission: €12

Randall "Big Daddy" Webster (USA) & Patrick Horgan (Cork) bring their "Tangled Roots Tour" to Ireland this June and we are privileged to be hosting them at The High Tide Club. They’ve performed together and thrilled audiences numerous times over the years. They share an interest in Blues and Roots music seeing their music as a living, breathing animal that can’t be tamed as it grows and matures. With their “Tangled Roots Tour” they bring together the very best of their original tunes, plus some golden nuggets filtered through their own life experiences.

RANDALL 'BIG DADDY WEBSTER' has opened for and/or shared the stage with BB King, Keb Mo, the Doobie Brothers, Sam Lay, Cool & The Gang, Bill Wharton, Joe Bonamassa, Grant Peeples, Huey Lewis & The News, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, Big Twist & The Mellow Fellows, Tommy Womack, Indigo Girls, Pierce Pettis, Acid Blues, De La Soul, Tab Benoit, Papa George and many more. Each experience has added to Webster’s tasty gumbo of music.

PATRICK HORGAN is a brilliant singer, songwriter, guitarist from Cork. Pat wrote the theme music for the Creedon Show on RTE Radio1 and has also written and presented a number of radio documentaries on Woody Guthrie, Leadbelly, Song Collectors, and other music related subjects. Since 2011, he has performed in Spain with 'Patrick Horgan y Los Hombres Aturdidos'. The latest project is a solo album of original material which was recorded in the Sound Emporium studio in Nashville with a group of elite American session players whose credits include, Elton John, John Hiatt, Steve Earle, Kings of Leon, Stevie Nicks, Willie Nelson and many others.

"Randall 'Big Daddy' Webster and Patrick Horgan are excellent performers and instrumentalists and they are true, authentic, engaging and seasoned singer/songwriters!" RHYTHM & ROOTS MAGAZINE
