Christine celebrates spring with uplifting songs from Brazil to Ireland and lots of places in between. Having been an integral part of both the New York City and London scenes for many years, Christine is now based in Northwest Roscommon. Her unique, rich sound was described by The Guardian as ‘Tobin’s 24 carat voice’. She can be junkyard blues philosopher, snappy beat seductress, a conduit for exquisite zen-like harmonies, or reflective Americana. The Irish Times wrote, “Tobin has followed a studiously personal path as a singer and songwriter that has won her the kind of accolades only bestowed on a few…This rare and thoroughly personal artist is a one-off…”. Her live show ‘A Thousand Kisses Deep’ won a prestigious Herald Angel Award at the Edinburgh Fringe. Earlier in her career she won a BASCA British Composer Award for her settings of WB Yeats, also “Jazz Vocalist of the Year” at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards, and “Best Vocalist” at the BBC Jazz Awards. Christine & Phil curated their own very successful music series ‘Tobin’s Run on 51’, which ran for over two years in NYC at the Irish Center. Recent festival appearances include the London Jazz Festival November 2023 and the Martin Hayes curated Masters of Tradition festival at Bantry House in August ’23.

“The Voice is a killer.” - fRoots

“What sets her apart is her intensity and the sheer beauty of her voice, a deep soulful thing that she seems to summon from somewhere deep inside…” Time Out Magazine London

Phil Robson is a multi-award-winning, internationally renowned UK jazz guitarist & composer now based in Ireland. He has led bands featuring seminal figures from the US jazz world such as Mark Turner, David Liebman, Billy Hart and more. He has worked with a diverse array of artists including Maceo Parker, Kurt Elling, Barbra Streisand & Jean Toussaint.

“Phil Robson’s inventiveness on the guitar is unstoppable…” - The Telegraph

Neil O’ Loclainn is a much in demand musician & composer from Co. Clare. He is a favourite in both jazz and Irish trad circles, playing the double bass, flute and penny whistle. He was in Louis Stewart’s quartet for many years and Martin Hayes said of him “Neil O’ Loclainn has an instinct and a feel for different strands of music that allows him to create uncompromised musical worlds that speak with real depth and authenticity”.
