Aradia Quartet

Playing together since 2020 Aradia are delighted to be returning to West Cork Chamber Music Festival for the second year in a row. They were the 2022 fellowship quartet at Concorda Chamber Music Course.

Aoibhin Keogh Daly [cello] 

Kate O'Shea has performed with the Quay quartet, the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland and the Royal Concertgebouworkest Young, and leads the CSM symphony orchestra. Eve Quigley is currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She is a prizewinner of numerous Feis Ceoil competitions, including the 2022 Senior viola cup. Eve has played in orchestras including the National Youth orchestra of Ireland and the Royal Concertgebouworkest Young. Aoibhin Keogh Daly is currently studying at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague with Jan Ype Nota and is a past pupil of Christopher Marwood. She was the youngest ever recipient of the Trench award in 2021 and has been a member of the Royal Concertgebouworkest Young and the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland. Julieanne Forrest studies with Pavel Vernikov at MUK Vienna and previously with Dr Fionnuala Hunt at RIAM. In 2019 she won the NCH Young Musicians Award and The Fr Frank Maher bursary in 2020. Julieanne made her debut as a soloist with the RTE Concert Orchestra in 2017. In 2019 she made her Carnegie Hall debut performing the Barber Violin Concerto with the New York Concerti Sinfonietta.
